Enable Accent Color Theme in Microsoft Edge: If you are using a chromium-based browser, then it has a by-default option to enable dark themes and light themes on Windows. In Windows 10, you can personalize with accent color with built-in settings in it. Now, you can do the same with your Microsoft Edge browser too. You can enable accent color in the Microsoft Edge browser with the help of Canary and Dev, which are the insider channels presented in it.  

The accent color in the Microsoft Edge has 14 predefined colors- “Dark grey, dark blue, light grey, light pink, medium blue, mint, pink, teal, grey, blue, purple, red, green, orange, and yellow.” All these options are being controlled by the Flags these days and hidden as experimental fiction. These options are available for the Canary and Dev versions. So, to use these options, you need to enable this using the flags page first, then via appearance settings. After the compilation of the testing, you will be able to set these accent colors in the original version of your browser.

Way to Enable Accent Color Theme in Microsoft Edge

Enable in the Flags page

To enable it from the Flags page, you have to follow these simple steps, which are given as follows:

Step 1. Open the Edge web browser on your computer.

Step 2. Now, type- edge://flags, in the address bar, and hit the Enter button.

Step 3. Go to the flags page, now type- Enable picker for color-based themes, in the search bar.

Step 4.  Now, select- Enabled from the dropdown menu.

Step 5. Click on the Restart button from the right-bottom corner of the window.

Change the using Appearance Settings

Change your accent color option using appearing settings: follow these steps to do this.

Step 1. Press – Alt+F, keyboard shortcuts together when the Microsoft edge appears.

Step 2. Now, click on the settings button.

Step 4. Now, from the right side of the window select your preferred color for Microsoft Edge, and click on it.

After setting up the appearance, you will experience the selected color on the homepage, toolbar, tabs, and everywhere on your edge browser.
