Is myAudi App Not Showing Car Location or the Live location is not appearing in myAudi app? This could be an insecure condition for your car. But, don’t worry, just read this post, and you will get your solution.

Besides tracking your car’s location, the myAudi app has many other features too. Although you can locate your vehicle using this app, you can also lock/unlock your vehicle remotely, or get an update for real-time traffic.

But, to avail of these features, you need to connect the myAudi app to your car. However, some users found that- the myAudi App fails to Connect to the Car for them. But, this post is about location issues. 

So, we are assuming that the app is connected to your vehicle but, the location is not showing. Keeping this in mind, let’s see the solution steps.

Restart the Device

This is very simple but, solves many issues- if the issue is occurring due to a temporary glitch. Just close the app on your device and then, restart it.

After this, check if the issue is gone and if the location has started appearing or not.

If not, try the next workaround.

Turn ON/OFF Airplane Mode

If the issue is due to connectivity, turning ON/OFF the airplane mode may resolve it. Doing this will reset your cellular connection. To reset your cellular connection, tap on airplane mode on your device and turn it ON now, wait for 10 seconds and then turn OFF it.

Now, launch the application again and check if the location is appearing or not.

Clear Cache and App Data

Corrupted app cache may also cause the issue and the myAudi app may stop showing your car location. So, clearing the app cache could be the next step to fixing the “myAudi App Not Showing Car Location.” issue.

If you are facing issues on your Android devices: Go to the settings -> Tap on Apps-> Select Manage Apps-> search for the myAudi app and click on that. Click on Clear Data and select clear all. Next again click on Clear data and select Clear cache and confirm your choice to complete the process. Now, restart your phone and try connecting the myAudi app to your car.

If the issue is with iPhone users: Go to your iPhone settings -> Click on General tab -> Click on myAudi App -> Click on iPhone Storage -> Click on Offload App button -> Again Reinstall myAudi app. This will clear the app cache.

Install the Latest Update For the App

The myAudi app should be up to date. To check if the issue is happening due to an outdated version of the app or not, check for an update and install it if it is available.

Log Out and Re-Login

This seems a very simple step but, sometimes, just logging out and logging in again may help to resolve many issues. So, access your profile and tap on the sign-out option. Wait till you are completely signed out from the app.

After that, enter the login details and sign in again. Start the app and see if the location of your car is start appearing or not.

Reset MMI (Multi Media Interface)

To fix the location issues with the myAudi app, resetting the MMI (Multi Media Interface) could help. Just, press and hold the ‘Setup’ button on the MMI control panel. Next, find the button above the knob that is in the middle of the panel and press and hold it with the setup button. Now, while keeping both the prior two buttons pressed, find the third button that is at the top right side of the knob and press and hold it also. 

So, you have to press three buttons together- The setup button, the button above the knob, and the button right side of the knob. 

When you press and hold these three buttons, you will see a message that confirms the reset process. 

After completing the process, see if the location is started appearing in the app or not.

Reinstall the myAudi App

Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the myAudi app and see if this helps to fix the location problem or not. 

Note that before reinstalling the app, delete the app and clear the app cache & data. 

Only after that, install the app from the app store or play store.

Follow the steps and launch the app. See if the car location is started showing.
