At the MWC 2024, Tecno revealed its new Camon 30 series of smartphones. The lineup consists of 4 models that are Camon 30, Camon 30 5G, Camon 30 Pro 5G, and Camon 30 Premier 5G ranging from the lowest to the highest in terms of affordability. Camon 30 5G is a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2436 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate, allowing for smooth and fast scrolling between screens. Besides, the two gadgets have 5000mAh capacity batteries that can be utilizing fast-charging technology with 70W capacity.
The Arena 30 is with rebranded version of Dimensity 7020 that is the same as what Dimensity 930 was. It features 8 GB RAM and has 256 GB ROM (built-in storage). The smartphone has HiOS 14-based Android14 version as preinstalled software.
It comes with a 50-megapixel front camera including an autofocus feature on the front. It goes alongside a dual LED flash, that comes with the provision of adjusting the color temperature. The back side of the smartphone is the housing of the OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera. This time a 2-megapixel depth sensor as well as a built-in AI lens comes along with it. However, it is equipped with many other features including an on-screen fingerprint sensor, two stereo speakers installed, an IR blaster, and a choice of glass and leather backs.
The brand has confirmed the Camon 30 (4G) model retains the same features as the 5G version. But as a 4G option, it also contains the Helio G99 chipset.
